By default, Adalysis does not link paused campaigns. Moreover, if a campaign gets paused after it is linked to Adalysis, it will not be included in the alerts and data analysis. This is because, generally, paused campaigns don't need to be optimized.
It is possible, however, to override this default behavior.
Scenario 1 - Campaign gets paused after it was linked to Adalysis
To include paused campaigns, that are already within Adalysis, in the alerts and analysis, please do the following:
1) Create a new label called AdalysisKeepEnabled (case sensitive). You can do so from within the Labels screen in Adalysis.
2) Enable the campaign from within Adalysis and assign the above label to it.
3) Pause the campaign immediately afterward from within Google Ads.
The campaign will be kept as enabled within Adalysis only. The status in Google Ads can change independently of Adalysis.
Scenario 2 - Link a paused campaign that is not yet in Adalysis
If the campaign is not yet in Adalysis, please do the following:
1) Enable the campaign in Google Ads and then switch to the Campaigns screen in Adalysis and click on the Link missing campaigns.
2) Create a new label called AdalysisKeepEnabled (case sensitive) and assign it to the campaign. You can create the label within the Labels screen in Adalysis.
3) Pause the campaign in Google Ads.
The campaign will be kept as enabled within Adalysis only. The status in Google Ads can change independently of Adalysis.
