If you want to be alerted to specific changes in your performance (e.g. increased spend, conversion rate drops), you can set up Performance Monitors.
You can find the Performance Monitors in two places:
- The Performance Monitors column of Adalysis Accounts Overview
- The Adalysis dashboard, on the Performance monitoring tab.
You can choose to track a relative change in a metric or to monitor when a metric hits a specific threshold. You can also choose to be notified by email, whenever the Performance Monitor triggers an alert. Finally, you can apply the same Performance Monitor to any other PPC accounts you have linked to Adalysis.
We provide some prebuilt monitors. For example, you may want to monitor when the daily spend drops to zero (which can indicate billing problems), or big drops in conversions or revenue.
Whenever the condition is met, you will get an alert in the Performance alerts column of the Adalysis Accounts Overview. It will also appear in the Performance alerts section on the dashboard.
Note: All other types of change tracking are carried out through the Audit Settings. More info.
Finding out the root cause of a performance change
For all performance alerts triggered by comparing the performance over two date ranges, you have the option to look at the root cause of the performance change. Simply click on the Root cause column to open the tool:
