Automated vs manual testing: what's the difference?

Modified on Tue, 24 Dec, 2024 at 2:24 PM

Manual testing for single ad groups means you can run tests with different configurations to the automated daily tests.

  1. Specify a date range other than 'common date range' which is what the automated tests always use.
  2. See all test results irrespective of confidence level. (The automated tests won't show results where all metrics have less than 90% confidence.)
  3. Override the current threshold values for your test run. This won't change your global threshold values. Automated tests always use the default account thresholds.

Please note that running a manual test with the default values shown below will generate the exact same result as the automated test.
