Fixing keywords with incorrect match types

Adalysis will notify you about keywords with syntax problems that may lead to less control over when your ads are showing. Examples of malformed keywords include incorrect usage of match type special symbols such as +, " " and [ ], or trying to mix them within a single keyword. 


You will see the alerts on your Dashboard, under the Audit Alerts / Keywords.




Click on the alert to see the list of malformed keywords and fix the issue.  Next to the malformed keywords, you will see the suggested corrections. Select the keywords you want to edit (or select all at once) and then hit the button Fix match type. The correct keywords will immediately replace the malformed ones in your Google Ads account. 




Alternatively, you can edit the incorrect keyword manually, by clicking on the pencil icon next to the keyword. After editing it will be instantly removed from the alert.
